Furqaan Ahmad: Kashmir’s 16-Year-Old Ethical Hacker, Agency CEO & Cyber Innovator Making Global Waves
At just 16 years old, Furqaan Ahmad is already a certified ethical hacker across all seven global hat categories, a full-stack developer, and the founder & CEO of Influence Kashmir—one of the region’s fastest-growing digital agencies. With over 300 completed tech and SaaS projects, collaborations with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, and even defense-level technology deployments for the Indian Army, Furqaan is positioning himself as one of India’s youngest and most promising tech entrepreneurs.
His agency has delivered work that’s appeared on New York City billboards, he’s performed live cybersecurity attacks in academic settings, and he’s built systems used by government departments, international brands, and military personnel—all before turning 17.
A Self-Taught Journey That Started at Age 10
Furqaan’s journey began in a small town in Kashmir, driven by nothing more than curiosity and a second-hand laptop. He started learning programming at age 10, using free resources, textbooks, and online tutorials. With no access to formal mentorship or advanced education in tech, he taught himself everything—from HTML to advanced cybersecurity protocols.
By 12, he had launched his own agency. What began as a freelance venture quickly evolved into Influence Kashmir, now one of the most talked-about social media marketing and digital development agencies in the region.
Government Collaborations & Raj Bhawan Access
Furqaan’s credibility as a young innovator caught the attention of key institutions. He’s been involved in digital modernization projects for law enforcement, animal husbandry, and livestock departments, and has worked directly under the guidance of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. With formal access to Raj Bhawan, Furqaan has contributed to projects that support governance and regional infrastructure.
He has also designed AI-integrated systems for scanning, surveillance, and threat detection, some of which have been used in collaboration with the Indian Army.
A Certified Ethical Hacker—With All 7 Hats
Unlike most teenage developers, Furqaan has not only studied hacking—he’s mastered it. He holds certifications in all seven ethical hacker hats: red, blue, black, grey, white, yellow, and green. These cover offensive security, network defense, vulnerability analysis, social engineering, and more.
He’s been invited to conduct live cybersecurity demonstrations, including CCTV breaches and database overload attacks, in front of schools and institutions—turning tech awareness into unforgettable lessons.
A Global Footprint
In 2023, Furqaan was selected by a European brand endorsed by Michael Jordan to design both their website and product architecture. The results earned international recognition, with his work featured on billboards in Times Square, New York City.
In another project, Furqaan collaborated with a computational engineer on a dark web research experiment that received over 131 million hits within 24 hours—a digital milestone inspired by the tactics used in The Social Network.
Training Others & Building a Tech Culture in Kashmir
While continuing to scale his projects, Furqaan is also focused on training and mentoring young tech enthusiasts. He has built a team across India, and is actively working on creating tech awareness and job-ready skills in Kashmir. His agency has become a hub for young developers, designers, and marketers who want to work on real, global projects.
Looking Ahead
As the digital economy continues to expand, Furqaan Ahmed is part of a rare class of young entrepreneurs who are not waiting for opportunities—they’re building them. With a combination of deep technical expertise, high-level government connections, and a vision to transform Kashmir’s digital identity, Furqaan is just getting started.
And the world is watching.
